'Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.'

Margaret Mead. ( 1909 - 1978)

We are always interested to hear from women who feel that they have some spare time to volunteer, therefore supporting our organisation supporting our clients and at the same time gaining valuable experience and training.
Opportunities are available in Stafford Cannock and South Staffs. If you feel that you would like to strengthen our web please call us for more details.
Due to the sensitive and confidential nature of our work ,we will expect our volunteers to undertake a full training programme.

The Volunteer Process

At Staffordshire Women’s Aid we have carefully worked through the process of becoming a volunteer to provide you with a unique and valuable experience in addition to training opportunities.
The process, will enable you to take up a role within the organisation with knowledge and confidence.
It is also important to us that your support doesn't stop there, and supervision and additional training will be provided at a pace that you are comfortable with!

Which Role is Right for you?

We are currently recruiting volunteers to support us in the following roles:

Training Support

Web site Support

Help line Support

Volunteer Counsellor

Editorial Support

Should any of the above roles interest you please contact us on our help line to request a full application pack, alternatively you can download an application form here, and return it to:

Staffordshire Women's Aid. PO Box 2387, Stafford. ST16 3WS

At interview we can discuss any ideas you may have about where you feel that you can fit into the organisation , what skills you would like to use, and indeed which skills you may like to learn.
If however you’re still not sure, then a good way to get started is to begin the induction and training process. With support and guidance you are bound to find an area that both the organisation and you feel you would benefit from being a part of.
