• Confidentiality, Honesty and Trust: Stafford Women's Aid recognises that confidentiality is a central element of providing a safe resource for women and children experiencing or fleeing Domestic Violence. Where there are issues of concern, for example in the case of child protection, confidentiality may need to be breached. Wherever possible this will be done with the cooperation of the service user. We strive to provide an open, honest environment to promote a trusting working relationship.
• Service user inclusion: Stafford Women's Aid aims to include all women and children who use our service. This will be done through our comprehensive complaints policy and feedback forms and also through a culture of listening to women and children service users and through evaluation and consultation of user groups.
• Commitment to staff development and professionalism: Stafford Women's Aid is committed to staff development and this is demonstrated through encouraging training, supervision and professional opportunity wherever possible. Stafford Women's Aid employees are expected to behave professionally and appropriately at all times and to promote our organisation and those that use the service. Policies relating to training, supervision and professionalism are provided to every staff member and are available to service users.
